OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT

“WE BELIEVE A GREAT COMMITMENT TO THE GREAT COMMANDMENT AND THE GREAT COMMISSION WILL GROW A GREAT CHURCH!”

The Great Commandment:

Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart…soul…and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matt. 22:36-40

The Great Commission:

Jesus said “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matt. 28:19-20

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

In essential beliefs – we have unity, In non-essential beliefs – we have liberty and In all our beliefs – we show love.

  • 1. In essential beliefs – we have unity.

We are all created equal. In our diversity lies our strength. We believe that we are all one in Christ equipped differently for the same purpose. There is one body and one Spirit … there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all. Ephesians 4:4-6

  • 2. In non-essential beliefs – we have liberty.

Everyone has a story. Each one of us has our own share of ups and downs that makes us who we are. We believe no one has the authority to play God by judging another. Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgement on disputable matters. Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls… So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. So whatever you believe about things keep between yourself and God. Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22

  • 3. In all our beliefs – we show love.

Love is the most important fundamentals of the Christian faith. ‘Doing everything with love’ is the attitude we encourage. If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains – but have no love, I amount to nothing at all. 1 Corinthians 13:2

STATEMENT OF FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS

The Bible is our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice. This Statement of Fundamental Truths is intended simply as a basis of fellowship among us (i.e., that we all speak the same thing, 1Corinthians 1:10; Acts 2:42). The phraseology employed in this statement is not inspired or contended for, but the truth set forth is held to be essential to a full-gospel ministry. No claim is made that it contains all biblical truth, only that it covers our need as to these fundamental doctrines.
